Wind Turbines at North Cape (Prince Edward Island)

The North Cape of Prince Edward Island is the home of  Wind Energy Institute of Canada (WEICan) and as a result you can find a variety of different wind turbines there.  Actually this is the place where years back I could see and photograph wind turbines at the very close proximity for the first time.

This year the North Cape landscapes looked different again because of newly erected 80 meters (260 ft.) giants. They are noisy like hell but at the same time, make photographs distinctive and unique.

Shooting & Processing

The only challenge with the shooting was rain which started at least 10-12 times the morning I visited North Cape. I took 3 bracketed shots on a tripod (-1, 0, +1) as I usually do.

First I applied Lightroom preset Natural from my Landscape Collection and later I used ToolKit to boost contrast and saturation.

The Lightroom Preset Editing Formula: Natural (17, 22, 30, 40)
