New York. Lower Manhattan. Manhattan Bridge
I am not sure if it is obvious but the reason I took this shot is to show 2 NY icons in one shot: Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges
[suvni:R]| June 28, 2008 8:30AM impressive work of mankind beautifully framed
Michael Rawluk| June 28, 2008 12:08PM I love the composition that leads the eye in and kind of traps it. Kind of hypnotic.
Tom Sheehan| June 28, 2008 1:14PM What a great shot Viktor. This has such a good feel to it. It says, and shows so much about the city.
Jim| June 28, 2008 1:33PM This has a classic, urban feel to it. If it wasn't for the modern cars I'd think it was from the 1950s.
desolate | metropolis| June 30, 2008 3:05PM The bridge is just so overwhelming. The shot is almost too cluttered, except that the bridge is just this commanding presence that forces order into the frame. Nicely done.

Jim - 365,000 words| July 9, 2008 3:32AM Very nice black and white. I agree, were it not for the cars, it could easily be from an archive picture from years ago. (The only thing that distracts me slightly is that traffic light in the foreground--not that there is much that can be done about that.)
